At the CAB we try to help people to know and understand their rights and obligations and how to use this information to get the best outcomes, provide people with the confidence and support they need to take action, and work for positive social change within communities and wider society. We provide a free and independent service to all.
Is there a referral process or can people self-refer to your service?
Anyone can get our help by: • visiting your local CAB (no appointment needed) • phoning your local CAB or calling free on 0800 FOR CAB (0800 367 222); • chatting with us online - https://www.cab.org.nz/ • browsing our information about your rights • searching our database for information and local community organisations.
